Guest guest Posted March 12, 2008 Report Share Posted March 12, 2008 Spiced Pear Sauce 6 medium Asian pears, peeled, cored and quartered 1/4 cups unsweetened orange juice 1/4 cup unsweetened pineapple juice 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves 1/8 teaspoon ground ginger 1/2 cup raisins 1 tablespoon sugar Combine pears, orange juice, pineapple juice, cinnamon, ginger & cloves in a pot. Cook 20 to 30 minutes over medium to low heat, until tender. Stir frequently. Mash fruit & stir in sugar. Add raisins. Serve warm or chilled over puddings or other desserts. Makes 2 1/2 cups.
