The Quiznos we go to loads up the sandwich with so many veggies you end up

eating most of it with a fork. We veto the rasberry vinagrette and have a

combination of Burbon Honey mustard and Rasberry Chipotle sauces. MMMmmm good!

And if they dont put enough of something on it you can ask for more and they

will. Our subways suck they dont want to give you much else than lettuce. I ask

for black olives and they put six little slices on a footlong sub. Ok enough

ranting.. have a good one.

Sounds like a majorly different franchize on those Subways. I wouldn't like it

the way you discribe it, either.

oh yea, I forgot about that. Ours does too, by Morningstar. I haven't tried

it, I like my standby cheese & veggie. I'll have to try it toasted next

time...its been a while.

Here in MD Subway has a veggi burger option called

veggie-max. I think it might be distributed by

morningstar farms but not sure. It is delicious! Such

a great fast food choice for me and the kids. yumm.

Sadly, when traveling, I've found that not all Subways

have this option.

I don't eat out often but if I have to grab a sandwich, I love Subway. They

pack my sandwich so full it looks like it's an open faced sandwich.

I went to a Subway recently with my DD and I was very pleased that they not

only " toasted " my sandwich, but let me choose TWO cheeses (in lieu of a meat and

a cheese) and then, on the " toppings " I asked for, in addition to all the " usual

veggie stuff " , some shredded cheese--TWO of those, as well.

When the sandwich was heated up, it all melted nicely and I really enjoyed my

sandwich. Not just a bun with a few sprinkles of " green stuff " and not much

else--but a HUGE sandwich with LOTS of nice, melted mixed cheeses and all the

trimmings! The only thing that would have made it simply PERFECT would have been

mushrooms and maybe some sprouts as well, but of course, Subway doesn't do

mushrooms or sprouts here!

It's too bad the " veggie burger " isn't something all the Subways carry! I have

never seen one that has those. Ours here (especially the ones connected to

Wal-Mart) have " personal pizzas " for options, however. A veg-burger option would

be really nice!

--Just my two cents' worth!
