Do you use it in place of something or how should you serve it? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Anyone have a good recipe for french toast? I was thinking about making some Zuccini bread and sliceing that and making the toast from that and freezing it. Any other suggestions? Guest guest Posted March 5, 2008 Report Share Posted March 5, 2008 I like to serve hummus like a spread on triangles of toasted pita bread or in a wrap or pita bread with falafel balls, tahini dressing, lettuce and tomatoes or as a dip for raw veggies. Guest guest Posted March 5, 2008 Report Share Posted March 5, 2008 Hummus is fantastic on crackers, used as a dip with raw veggies, or in a soft tortilla as a roll-up with sprouts, roasted re peppers and avocado. I started with the Sabra brand, and am venturing into the recipes. It can be very flexible with most cool foods. I recommend raw zucchini sticks. Or, today I just tried some Garlic and Pine Nut Hummus with Kashi TLC Fire-Roasted Vegetable crackers! YUM!!!
