Does anyone have one of these? I saw them in a magazine and they

looked interesting. Also how do you sprout the beans such as mung etc?

I have a counter top sprouter. It works really well with the right sprout seeds.

I have a couple of counter top sprouters which I use all the time. I

sprout a lot of seeds - alfalfa, sunflower, mustard, cress, broccoli,

fenugreek, radish, as well as mung and adzuki beans. They are great

added to salads or sandwiches or I just sprinkle them on top of a stew

as I am serving it up and of course bean sprouts are great in stirfry,

as are peanut sprouts (although I've never tried sprouting them myself)

Sprouted seeds and beans are a good source of vitamins and minerals and

they all taste great and are wonderfully fresh.

My son-in-law uses these special jars with holes in the lids, like screen

almost. He sprouts all kinds of beans. I am not exactly sure how he does it,

but I see him add water, put the lid on, then set them on the side of the

drainer to drain out. He has those jars all over the kitchen upstairs. When

you take out a bunch of the sprouts, they seem to just keep coming. I could ask

him exactly how he does it if you want me to get a better description for you

I got my Kitchen Crop Seed Sprouter from Amazon on Wednesday. It has

three levels and the water drips down from one level to the next. I

picked up two packets of greens seeds and a packet of radish seeds at

my local Orchard Supply. All are sprouting nicely. And I have

alfalfa, zesty mix, and mung seeds on the way from iHerb. So I guess

I'm well on my way to being a sprout farmer!

I have a couple similar to that, Mike, and have mung beans and alfalfa

seeds sprouting at the moment. Have fun!
