Guest guest
I found this in an old recipe mag from my grandmom. I had to make it, vegetarian of course:) It is chili, refried beans, and cheese layered in lasagna noodles. You really don't need a recipes for this, but... 4½ c vegetarian chili 16 lasagna noodles, cooked and drained (I made my own, boiled them, and then layered them in the lasagna) 1 can (16 oz) vegetarian refried beans 4 c shredded Colby-Mont Jack cheese (1 lb) optional...jalapeno chilies, sour cream, diced tomatoes, etc. Heat oven to 350. Spread ½c chili on bottom of 13X9X2 pan. Top with 3-4 noodles. spread 1 c chili and 1/4 beans over noodles. Sprinkle w cheese. Repeat 3 times, ending with cheese. (personally I would cut back on the cheese...I don't beleive I'm saying this!!). Cover and bake 40 mins. Uncover and bake 20 mins more, or until hot and bubbly. Let stand 15 mins before cutting. Makes 12 servings. Great thing to do with all that left over chili:) ~Nicole
