Guest guest
I made this salad for my husband last night and you should have seen the reaction. His eyes light up and he was so happy. It definately was well worth the 10 minutes it took to make. Katie Strawberry salad 2 cups of romaine hearts, torn into chunks 2 cups of spinach leaves, torn 2 cups sliced fresh strawberries 1/2 cup sliced almonds dressng 1 Tbs sesame seeds 1/2 Tbs poppy seeds 1/4 cup white sugar 1/4 cup Extra Virgin olive oil 1/8 cup apple cider vinegar 1/8 tsp paprika 1/8 tsp vegetarian worchestershire sauce 1/2 Tbs minced onion In medium bowl wish together all ingredients of the dressing. Cover and chill for an hour. In a large bowl combine and toss together the romaine, spinach, strawberries and almonds, then divide into smaller individual bowls. Wisk dressing again to be sure sugar has not settled out and drizzle about 2 tablespoons over each salad. Chill until ready to eat. Serves 2 Never miss a thing. Make your homepage.
