Guest guest
, I was raised to be a meat-eater. That is simply how most people in the U.S. eat. When I was growing up, I don't think I probably ate quite as much meat as some people. A year or so ago, I read a book called The China Study. The book made a great case for why we should not consume meat or dairy, including all of the diseases that it leads to. It was very convincing and I decided that I would give up meat and dairy. Once I stopped eating meat, I didn't crave it at all. Now that it has been about 15 months, I don't even like the smell of meat cooking. I eat fruit, veggies and whole grains. Occasionally, I will eat something that contains eggs or milk, but that's usually at a social gathering and I do it to be polite and participate. Feel free to ask me more questions if you like.
