Guest guest Posted February 26, 2008 Report Share Posted February 26, 2008 @@@@@ Pesto alla Trapanese - Italian 6 cloves garlic 6 ripe plum tomatoes 1/4 pound blanched, peeled almonds 1 bunch of basil Virgin olive oil Salt and pepper Grind the garlic, basil and salt to obtain a paste, then work the tomatoes and almonds into it, grinding until the mixture is homogenous. Add pepper to taste and olive oil sufficient to produce a sauce, and it's ready.
