It has a plastic cover on top of the motor which cracked and now half of it broke off. Grr! These blenders are made with too many plastic pieces that easily break. Anyhoo, I am in search of a new blender... I make fruit smoothies every day for breakfast, so I need something that is built to withstand everyday use...and will last!
