Guest guest Posted February 23, 2008 Report Share Posted February 23, 2008 Breakfast Berry Fruit Compote 1 cup small strawberries, hulled 1/2 cup blueberries 1/2 cup maple syrup 1/2 tsp vanilla extract squirt of lemon juice In a 12 " sauté pan, bring the maple syrup and vanilla to boil. Add the lemon juice and swirl in. Then toss in the fruit and toss in the pan until coated and slightly wilted. Serve over low-fat yogurt, whole grain cereal, oatmeal or granola. Makes 4 servings.
