Guest guest
mylameoww >Thanks for the links on protein! I am never worried about protein for my self, as I know there is enough in most other foods besides meat. I am more concerned for my son as I read infants and children need more protein than adults since they are growing so rapidly.< When my daughter was a baby I never worried because I nursed her. When I weaned her at 18 months my doctor told me I should feed her meat baby food because she needed the protein. Um..... I reluctantly did this. When she was 2 1/2 we took her to a paediatrician. This doctor looked over the form I filled out and said " Great you're a vegetarian. " She told me that children did not need meat. They could get plenty of protein from other sources. I should have followed my instincts. Anne
