Guest guest Posted February 19, 2008 Report Share Posted February 19, 2008 Our favorite cheddar substitute is as follows: 1c raw cashews 1c soy milk or rice milk 2oz jar pimientos 1/2tsp onion powder 1/2tsp salt 1/4tsp garlic powder 2tsp lemon juice 3tbs yeast flakes process all in blender or food processor til smooth, cook until thickened This is good for mac and chesse just skip the cook part and mix it with cooked macaroni and bake.
