Guest guest Posted February 17, 2008 Report Share Posted February 17, 2008 * Exported from MasterCook * Curried Walnut Pâté - 5 pts, Carbs 6g; Fiber 2g Recipe By :Bridget’s Sunflower Serving Size : 10 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : LowCal (less than 300) LowerCarbs Spicy Vegan WW Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 2 1/2 cups raw walnuts -- (soaked in water 8 hours) 1 cup celery -- minced 1/2 cup red pepper -- minced 1/2 cup onion -- minced 1 Tbs. dried basil 3 Tbs. dried cilantro 1 1/2 tsp. curry powder 1 1/2 Tbs. tamari or shoyu soy sauce 1 Dash Herbamare® -- or favorite spice mix seasoning Mince celery, red pepper, onion or scallion by hand and set aside. Blend soaked walnuts, dried basil, cilantro, dill, curry and shoyu or tamari in a food processor until very fine. Add a little water if desired. Take the mixture out of the food processor and fold in vegetables. Season with Herbamare® to taste. Shape into loaf; decorate with walnuts, red bell pepper and parsley.
