That's too bad that people have to be dishonest. We get our eggs from

a small farm in our town, we can see the hens and the eggs are RIGHT

out of the coops (still have sawdust and chicken poop on the shells!).

They have their own egg cartons printed up with their name on them.

Guess you have to be really vigilent about where the stuff comes from.

we were getting fresh food and supporting local farmers but we found

out that many of the venders were getting their stuff from a food

terminal. .........We started going to a woman who had a farm and a

sign in front of her stand saying " Free Range Eggs. " We thought she had

laying hens on her farm. We bought from her for a couple of years until

I saw her getting eggs out of the same box from the chicken facory.>

The free range eggs we get have high, deep yellow yolks and whites that hold

their shape in the pan or bowl. The farmer's kids wipe the shells off a little,

but not so much that you cannot see that they came from chickens that get to

peck in the dirt outside in the sunlight.
