Tagliatelle with Toasted Seeds - 7 pts, Carbs 28g; Fiber 2g

3/4 pound dried tagliatelle

salt

2 tablespoons pumpkin seeds

2 tablespoons sunflower seeds

2 tablespoons pine nuts

6 tablespoons whipping cream -- or extra virgin olive oil

freshly ground black pepper

freshly grated Parmesan cheese

 

Cook pasta in a salted boiling water 6-7 minutes or as directed on package.

 

In a dry skillet, toast seeds and pine nuts until browned.

 

Drain pasta well and toss with seeds, nuts and cream or olive oil. Serve with

black pepper and Parmesan cheese.
