Guest guest
All of PunkinPie68 (sorry don't know name) great recipes have been posted in the files section. I did them all at once and only sent out 1 notification for one of her recipes. I didn't want to flood any mailboxes....50kb (which would have been the amount to the notifications) is not much, but for some can be too much depending on the limit and how much room they have left. Anywho, enough blabbing and thanks to all who posted their recipes. This one below, posted by Punkin, sounds pretty good to me. S. ----Original Message Follows---- PunkinPie68 Tomato, Olives & Wild Rice Casserole Note from Cheri: This recipe is reprinted from Wild Rice Cooking by Susan Carol Hauser. This book contains the history and lore of wild rice, information about harvesting your own wild rice and 80 wild rice recipes. 3 C cooked wild rice 1/2 C chopped onion 1 C sliced mushrooms 1/2 C butter 1 C canned tomatoes 1 C chopped black olives 1 C grated cheddar cheese 1 C hot water Preheat oven to 350° F. Sauté onions and mushrooms in butter. Combine all ingredients in an ungreased casserole dish, saving out a little cheese to sprinkle on top. Stir in 1 cup hot water last, to keep the dish moist. Sprinkle with the reserved cheese. Cover and bake for 45 minutes. _______________ Add photos to your messages with MSN 8. Guest guest
I'm a little behind filing. I promise to catch up soon. Donna Sent via BlackBerry from T-Mobile " wwjd " <jtwigg Tue, 12 Feb 2008 00:03:56 To: Re: recipes Our dear Donna and Diane keep those recipes filed on our home page, into different catagories, so you don't have to worry about missing any. So many tried and true, good recipes are in our files and new ones posted here all the time by our generous, wonderful members........ It is such great inspiration to get in our kitchen and create good yummy food to eat isn't it. Judy - mylameoww @ <%40> Monday, February 11, 2008 10:24 PM recipes Thanks for all of the fabulous recipes everyone posts! This may be a silly question , but I was wondering if all of the recipes that are posted end up in the recipe file?? I am wondering how would be best for me to save them, or will I just be able to refer to the recipe files? Thanks! ~Danielle
