Lake, MN Serving Size : 8 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : 4 quart Diabetic Slow Cooker Vegetarian WW Points Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 3/4 cup water 1/2 cup chopped onions 1 1/2 cups sliced carrots 1 1/2 cups chopped celery 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon pepper 15 1/4 ounces whole kernel corn -- drained, (1 can) 15 ounces creamed corn -- (1 can) 1 1/2 cups milk, skim 1 1/2 cups half-and-half, fat free 1 cup fat-free cheddar cheese -- grated Combine water, onions, carrots, celery, salt, and pepper in slow cooker. It's -28 degrees celsius witht he wind chill today so some hearty chowdee will be just what we need. I'm going to do it on the stove instead of in the slow cooker since I won't start cooking till 6pm tonight... what do you guys think? 1 hour for the first part, then another 30 mins for the rest?
