Guest guest
I'm in southern Alabama. Not far from the beautiful crystal clear Emerald gulf coast beaches of Florida..... Brrrrr your temps on the frigid side.... though it sounds like you are used to it... Judy - Katie M Friday, February 08, 2008 7:47 PM Re: dinner tonight We are having a regular heat wave today. Temperatures are up above zero for the first time in a week, Of course it is only 2* above, but that is better than the 18 below it was. I complain about the cold, but wouldn't live anywhere else, by choice. It is beautiful and as long as I can keep the house warm, I am happy. Speaking of keeping the house warm, the best way to do it is to turn on the over and get busy cooking. Where are you that it is 60*. I won't see that until June. I know it must be quite cold and the countryside and lakes covered in a beautiful blanket of white up your way. We're in the 30's at night, which I am enjoying..... very much. - Katie M Friday, February 08, 2008 6:50 PM Re: dinner tonight sSounds yummy. I put together the lentil loaf, everything but the baking and have it ready to go in the oven later. It sure tastes good and it isn't even cooked yet. I am in Alaska, so several hours behind most everyone else, It is still mid afternoon here and we won't be having dinner for several hours. Judy - Katie M Friday, February 08, 2008 6:13 PM dinner tonight After the rave reviews for the lentil loaf, I am making it for dinner. I will serve it with Au Gratin potatoes and romaine and spinach salad and brocolli. Tomorrow I am looking forward to an oriental stri-fry. What are you having? Guest guest
I was in Florida once, In Fort Lauderdale. I was amazed to see the folks wearing down parkas and gloves when I was wearing shorts and a short sleve shirt. We start wearing summer clothes at 60*.
