Guest guest
You're very welcome, Shawndra! TSP - Texturized Soy Protein and TVP - Texturized Vegetable Protein and basically the same thing. This gives a good overview of many soy products including this. http://www.thesoyfoodscouncil.com/pdf/soy101.pdf Click on this and then at the bottom they show a demo of preparing the TVP and making a veggie burger mix with it...... http://www.mediterrasian.com/recipe_makeovers_burger.htm - shawndra graham Friday, February 08, 2008 1:01 PM Re: Re: TVP and Hot Chili Popcorn recipe Judy, Thank you for the info. I do not know why I haven't run across this before in all of my recipes. It must be that my recipes tend to be from my middle eastern cookbooks. I will have to look for TVP next trip to the health food market. Also, is TVP the same TSP?? Thank you for the Bday wish and I hope you enjoy the recipe. With Regards, Shawndra wwjd <jtwigg wrote: Shawndra, You can find the TVP (texturized vegetable protein) at health food store and loads of places on the internet... It is a dried product that you reconsitute with hot water. Then add it to recipes that call for ground beef or chunks. It comes in small pieces and chunks. Your popcorn recipe sounds delicious and Happy Birthday. Thanks for sharing the recipe.
