Guest guest Posted February 7, 2008 Report Share Posted February 7, 2008 1 15oz can black beans, drained 1/4 cup diced and sauted onions 2 slice multigrain bread, finely crumbled 1/2 tsp each garlic powder, black pepper, and onion powder 1/2 cup cracker or bread crumbs In large bowl mash the drained black beans. Add the sauted onions, crumbled bread, spices and mix thoroughly. Add about 1/4 cup cracker or bread crumbs (or just enough to be able to form patties). Using your hands form mixture into 1/2 inch thick patties. You may coat the patty with cracker crumbs if you would like. In lightly oiled non-stick pan fry both sides of patties.
