Guest guest Posted February 6, 2008 Report Share Posted February 6, 2008 * Exported from MasterCook * Japanese Adzuki Bean Salad - 7 pts Recipe By : Serving Size : 6 Preparation Time :0:15 Categories : Quick Spicy Vegan WW Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- Dressing: 2 teaspoons tamari -- or soy sauce 2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar 2 teaspoons wasabi powder -- or to taste 3 tablespoons canola oil 2 tablespoons dark sesame oil Bean Salad: 1 pound canned adzuki beans -- drained 2 scallions -- minced 1 cucumber -- chopped 1/2 pound green beans -- trimmed, halved, steamed and chilled 2 cups organic salad greens mix 1 cup watercress 1 teaspoon sesame seeds 1 teaspoon fresh chives Combine first 5 ingredients in a bowl for the dressing. Mix in beans, scallions, cucumber and green beans. Chill. Place salad greens and watercress on serving plates. Top with bean mixture and sprinkle with sesame seeds and chives.
