ADOBO SAUCE is what canned chipotles are packed in. Mostly tomato and spices I

think, but

read the label in case there's something you don't eat. Alternatively Chipotle

peppers are

available dried from some grocery stores and I often just drop one whole into a

soup or

beans for a little spicy smoky flavor. The canned version is VERY spicy so

beware if you're

sensitive.

I haven't heard of Adabo. I do a lot of spanish foods and we have adobo

seasoning.....it's a spice mixture, multi purpose seasoning that goes in almost

everything. I haven't ever heard of an Adobo sauce.......we have Recaito (green)

and Sofrito (red) which are sauces, but not in and of themselves.....they are

usually the base for a sauce or soup/stew.

I know the Philapino people use adabo. Like chicken etc adabo, but don't see

why you cant use just veggies, they take a bay leave equal parts soy to

vinegar. Garlic and some onions.

I know that I have seen abado in the Hispanic isle at the grocery store.

Many Blessings
