Guest guest
Hi everyone I hear that the American congress is today discussing the Universal National Service Act of 2006 - HR 4752 IH... apparently to re-introduce compulsory military service for men from 18 to 42... of course, the UK won't be far behind.... I wonder if I can claim assylum in some nice country like New Zealand! BB Peter
Guest guest
hmmm this was brought out in february first off..it was designed by a pretty liberal(as far as that goes nowadays) congressman..Charles Rangel secondly...i can see it going anywhere during a mid term election year.... i think it was thrown out there to cut across the bow of republicans, and also from the other end, to show up how those in the services nowadays are from the more poor quarter of society... i'm not agreeing with a draft at all..but this was put out afaik to make everyone "share the burden" doesn't have a chance this session Peter Kebbell Jun 6, 2006 4:23 AM American draft?
