Guest guest
Interesting collection. Explore slowly and share comments. Vijay Do you use Creative Visualization, affirmations or any other similar technique ? Please share info. on these here. Thanks in advance. Here is a site on types of intelligence: http://skyview.vansd.org/lschmidt/Projects/The%20Nine%20Types%20of%20Intelligenc\ \ e.htm Mostly in school/work we are taught to mainly use just a few types. But there are other types to explore/discover and use frugally it appears. I stumbled across it in my early 20's in a book called Pyscho Cybernetics 1. Splitting Processor/Batch Process Technique Our mind works like the PC Processor, understanding this processor may help us better use our brain. This PC Processor can do jobs in the background and can do multiple jobs at the same time. So, how about trying to split the processor in our mind mentally, into a big portion say 95% and a small portion say 5% and give the 5% a small batch job. Later on check its results. This small batch job can even be things that one is routinely concerned about. That way 95% of the mind is freed for other vital things. 2. Interesting CV Exercise - Life on a UBoat Go thru this site carefully, specially the pictures. Then for one hour, pick a task, imagine you are on a Uboat and doing the task, living life in a UBoat. If needed you can also visualize it faster than real. This will save time. Visualize even the finer tasks like washing, eating in a uboat etc., http://uboat.net/ Source: http://uboat.net/gallery/index.html?gallery=U505C & amp;img=7 3. Movie Visualization/Frugal Entertainment I had a friend who used to imagine a giant screen in her mind and rewatch her favorite movies on this screen. First time there are blanks. Upon watching it second time on mental screen, more blanks get filled and so on. CV By Shakthi Gawain and tapes from Effective Learning Systems (Now I think they make CDs.) These are old. Also have some sounds of ocean waves, streams, birds in nature chirping etc., There are also CV Video Tapes I heard, saw them advertised several years ago on TV but they seemed real expensive then. Down the road, rather than following others, it is best to device your own CV exercise/session. Write down the steps carefully. One may also record their own CV session, however I suggest exchanging it with a friend. It is wierd to hear my own voice on tape. Also, listening to fairy tales are relaxing. Several here are for free: www.librivox.org CV Vacation Have a powerful CV vacation exercise. Collect pictures/sounds for this from TV, books, net etc., Then have a CV Vacation at your destination of choice. This is frugal and also saves time. Share any sites/articles on self-hypnosis.
