Guest guest Posted May 3, 2006 Report Share Posted May 3, 2006 but..is it making me fat??? last nite, while trying to get my computer at home set up, had the tv on.... talking about a report of childhood obesity, and how the US is basically in bed with big AG business and manufacterers... and how we need to stop advertisinin so much crap, how kids are susceptable, etc and so forth the commercial immediately after the report??? a commerical for sonic fast food, for the bacon cheese murder death something er other sandwich... life just really doesn't get much funnier this morning....reading the news.... first off, a series of stories on global warming, melting glaciers in china, warming atmosphere, and several states including california are sueing the US govt over global warming and pollutants... next story in line?? republicans gonna push(again) to open up ANWR to drilling, and the ridiculous $100 rebate for gas.... i wonder.....do i happen to live on a different planet then everyone else????? Guest guest Posted May 4, 2006 Report Share Posted May 4, 2006 one of the projects that I am working in at my job right now is that the CDC whants to find out why there is a Teen obesity epidemic. kids across the us, are paid 10 dollars to volunteer to answer questions about their videogame/tv and sports habits. these 10$ per kid is coming from everyones tax dollars.
