The Green/Environmental, and to a lesser extent the Progressive and the Liberal movements are all constantly being derided as nuthin more then " spoiled rich white folks " , and there is a lot of criticism for them ignoring the plights of inner city poverty, and stuff like that... so..i was thinking How come organizations like Greenpeace, Sierra Club, ACLU, whichever...why don't they organize immigrants? Hold classes on things like " how to learn english " ????? this will certainly help folks acclimate themselves into a foreign land, and of course help them on their way toward citizenship..and at the same time, Progressive/Environmental groups get to help people, and can help educate/inform an entire other class of society which is sadly left out of things.... fraggle You can bomb the world to pieces You can't bomb it into peace Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
