Amy >From Rival Crockpot Slow Cook Recipes for All Occasions: Well wher ei am we have snow here for over a week between you and me I think it is the back orders that people put in for left over snow for Christmas. So if if snows you need something good to drink: TRIPLE DELICIOUS HOT CHOCOLATE 1/3 cup sugar 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder 1/4 teaspoon salt 3 cups milk, divided 3/4 teaspoons vanilla extract 1 cup heavy cream 1 square (1 ounce) bittersweet chocolate 1 square (1 ounce) white chocolate 3/4 cup whipping cream 6 teaspoons mini choclate chips or shaved bittersweet chocolate Combine sugar,cocoa powder, salt and 1/2 cup milk in a medium bowl. Beat until smooth. Pour into Crock Pot Slow Cooker. Add remaining 2 1/2 cups milk and vanilla. Cover; cool on LOw for 2 hours. Add cream. Cover; cook on low for 10 to 15 minutes. Stir in bitttersweet and white choclates until melted. Pour hot chocolate into 6 cups. Top each with 2 tablespoons whipped cream and 1 teaspoon chocolate chips. **************Start the year off right.
