I am a 40 year old wife and mom of three who has now been meat free for a month. Ive played with the idea of becoming a vegetarian since I was a teen but found it difficult as I am from Iowa and was raised in a farming community. Eating meat was expected and not much thought put into it, so we ate what we were fed and never questioned it. The decision to become a vegetarian has been one of the best decisions I have ever made as I feel better than I ever have. I have a huge love of all animals and often times felt like a hypocrite for eating meat, but being involved in animal rights. I now feel better mentally and physically and being a vegetarian just comes naturally to me now. Im excited to become a member of this group and find new recipes, as my first experience with tofu was not a good one..lol. Kellie
Guest guest
Thanks so much...I really want to learn how to cook with it as my first attempt was pretty bad! Im a great cook, but I didnt buy the firm tofu and it pretty much fell apart into mush. I wont give up and will definitely be checking out the recipes. Thanks Donna! thelilacflower wrote: Hi Kelli We have a whole folder of tofu recipes. Don't give up on it yet.
