Guest guest Posted January 27, 2008 Report Share Posted January 27, 2008 Broccoli with Carrots 3/4 lb. carrots, peeled and cut into 1/8 inch slices 3/4 lb. broccoli florets 1 tbsp. unsalted butter Place carrots in a steamer basket over boiling water. Cover saucepan and steam 4 minutes. Add broccoli and steam another 7-8 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Transfer to a serving bowl. Add butter, and salt and pepper to taste before serving.
