Guest guest
The fig season here in Alabama is late June thru July. Occassionally you get a second crop in September. They are just delicious. They are fragile and only keep for about 2 days at most in the refrigerator, so you have to eat them quickly and probably why grocery stores don't usually carry them or if they do, they are rather expensive. They are loaded with fiber and vitamins. Judy - " Marilyn Daub " <mcdaub Tuesday, January 22, 2008 5:15 AM Re: Judy My new cookbook >I have never had a fresh fig, only dried, but I love them.
