cloth shopping bags

Have you tried contacting the store manager for places that don't

quite get the cloth-shopping-bag idea?

I will very soon send out letters to stores I regularly shop at. I'll

probably just suggest the credit for customers who bring their own

bags, rather than charging those who take the plastic bags. However,

I saw that done in Portugal last summer.
