I am soooo happy that hasn't occurred to Shaman, though I think the pantry cupboard is at more risk. He does ring the doorbell when he wants to come in from the front porch though... teehee. Does anyone else make their dog's food, I mean, besides sharing some of your own meals? My vet says their digestive tract is much shorter than ours, so they really do need meat, so I cook him meat with whole grains for his main meals. I make several days worth at once, and most is baked in the oven, so it's not a lot of work, really, and I feel as if he's eating better when he's not getting a bunch of " animal by-products " , whatever those are. I'm trying to keep him alive a looong time though. He's very healthy. Love & Light, Barbara BarbaraJean1732 **************Start the year off right. Guest guest
I cook for my dogs also. They do eat organic meat because I think they need it. However, I also feed them all kinds of veggies, cottage cheese, a little egg now and then and fruit. I have had a lot of dogs and they live a really long time so I know I must have the right idea.
