Guest guest Posted January 18, 2008 Report Share Posted January 18, 2008 One thing that we do that helps keep our pantry stocked with quick fixes, is to sign up for the Fantasic Foods e-mailing list. A few times a year, the company runs a " free shipping " promotion for orders over $15 and notifies you by email. When that happens, we order a few cases of chili, hummus, natureburger, etc. Ordering it that way cuts the cost to around $1.66 per box, which is way less than what you'd pay in a supermarket. Add in the fact that there is no tax or shipping, and you've got yourself a bargain. Since you aren't paying shipping, you can justify trying a single box of something you wouldn't want to commit to a case of. That's how we discovered we liked the sloppy joe!
