Guest guest
Hi everyone, I hate tofu. It's like eating rubber. Any opinions on home made tofu compared to the fresh in the store and the type packaged for non refrigeration storage would be appreciated. Guest guest
I haven't personally made tofu, but I get it fresh at a little market that makes only tofu and it is so-o-o delicious! I think it is a matter of 'taste'. I know someone who only likes the aseptic boxed ones, and I don't like it unless it is cooked in something. Store-bought can vary from brand to brand. Some are VERY good, others I wouldn't recognize as tofu! I think one needs to experiment with different brands. If you're eating it plain, I would go with a homemade/fresh brand. : salt: Wed, 16 Jan 2008 06:39:46 -0800 tofu home made versus store bought Hi everyone,I hate tofu.
