Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

1/2 cup plain nonfat yogurt

1 cup low-fat cottage cheese

1 1/2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice

1 medium carrot -- peeled and grated

2 teaspoons grated onion

1/2 teaspoon dried thyme

1/4 teaspoon dried marjoram

1/4 teaspoon dried oregano

1/4 teaspoon dried basil

1/4 teaspoon salt -- optional

 

In a food processor, combine the yogurt, cottage cheese, and lemon juice;

process until smooth.

Pour into a small mixing bowl.

 

Add the remaining ingredients and mix well. Cover and refrigerate for 1 to 2

hours before serving.
