I just heard from our friends (husband and i are god-parents to their brood) and they are without power and had flooding about 30 miles north east of their place in the Sierra's. They were prepared and this week had the fuel people fill the diesel tank for their house generator in case of emergency, but many were not. hope all of you are ok, i'll keep the knee mails going. love to all of you, Jeanne in GA Looking for last minute shopping deals? However, we are 1/2 block from the PGE [gas/electricity] yard so we have not lost electricity like many of those in Humboldt County so I can just hole up and knit in front of the fire.
