Combine the dry ingredients in a medium-size bowl. Add the yogurt and maple syrup and mix gently but thoroughly, until the dry ingredients are completely moistened. Pour the oil into an 8-inch square baking pan and place in the oven for 2 to 3 minutes, until hot. Spread the batter in the hot pan and bake for 30 minutes, or until the edges are lightly browned. Cut into squares to serve. Serves 4 to 6.
