Im not exactly sure what happened in sending this..But some how in the internet

world my numbers for the ingredients got all mixed up and not where they were

supposed to. Thanks to Kat for pointing this out to me..

Jenn's Notes from Christmas: These were a great big hit this year.. I had to

make cookies since my step sister wasnt doing them.. I didnt do these first but

I will have a review also for those that I did do before this one.. My bil was

asking for a soft chocolate chip cookie.. And this is what I found.. Please read

at bottom as I made these into Butterscotch cookies as well..

award winning, my daughter, Tegan, made them for a cookie baking contest and won

a red ribbon! You can use any flavor pudding you like for this recipe. "

PREP TIME 15 Min

COOK TIME 12 Min

READY IN 1 Hr 40 Min

Original recipe yield: 6 dozen

INGREDIENTS

4 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

2 teaspoons baking soda

2 cups butter, softened

1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar

1/2 cup white sugar

2 (3.4 ounce) packages instant vanilla pudding mix

4 eggs

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

4 cups semisweet chocolate chips

2 cups chopped walnuts (optional)

DIRECTIONS

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Sift together the flour and

baking soda, set aside.

In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and white sugar. Beat

in the instant pudding mix until blended. Stir in the eggs and vanilla. Blend in

the flour mixture. Finally, stir in the chocolate chips and nuts. Drop cookies

by rounded spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.

Bake for 10 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven. Edges should be golden brown.

For Butterscotch cookies.. Use butterscotch chips instead of Chocolate. OMG I

love these.. Will definitly be on my to do list for next christmas or even when

sissy had a party at the state school.. They allow baked goods there.

Next year I will be trying it with butterscotch pudding and Butterscotch chips..
