Guest guest Posted December 28, 2007 Report Share Posted December 28, 2007 Green Chile-Bean Burgers Prep Time:30 Min   Makes:4 sandwiches INGREDIENTS 1   cup Old El Paso® Vegetarian Refried Beans 1/2   cup Progresso® Plain Bread Crumbs 1/2   cup Green Giant® Niblets® Frozen Corn 1/4   cup finely chopped onion 3   tablespoons Old El Paso® Chopped Green Chiles 1   teaspoon cumin 1/2   teaspoon salt 1   egg 1   tablespoon olive oil 4   lettuce leaves 4   slices tomato 4   burger buns, split DIRECTIONS 1.   In large bowl, combine beans, bread crumbs, corn, onion, chiles, cumin, salt and egg; mix well. 2.   Heat oil in 12-inch nonstick skillet over medium-high heat until hot. Spoon mixture into skillet forming 4 mounds; flatten each to form 1/2-inch-thick patty. Cook 6 to 8 minutes or until thoroughly heated and lightly browned, turning once. 3.   Place lettuce, cooked patties and tomato slices on bottom halves of buns.
