Guest guest Posted December 23, 2007 Report Share Posted December 23, 2007 I too cook my veggies at a high temp using olive oil. Like Donna I like them to retain their color and crispness. I love the taste of olive oil and eat a lot of it. I use my hot air popper to make pop corn and then sprinkle on olive oil and sea salt. Sometimes I use garlic, onion powder, and pepper. Try some of your favorite herbs such as dill, cinnamon or cardamom. Chopped onion and garlic sauteed in olive oil and sprinkled on popcorn is delicious. My favorite pasta dish is cooked pasta with stir fried veggies tossed with olive oil and a bit of vinegar. Not easy finding extra virgin olive oil in glass containers these days but there are still a few companies that have it.
