JApanese Beech mushrooms

These are delicious. I found a package of organic

brown at the Japanese store yesterday and tossed them

into my soup. I find it interesting how they grown on

wood or beech trees. Makes a difference in appearance,

they look so clean and smooth you would think they

were fake.

They're very popular and easy to find here in Brazil.

I usually just sauté them in vegan margarine with a

bit of soy sauce, but I also have a great recipe for

beech mushroom gyoza (I'm gonna post it later on). I

love them. =)

Oh my a new 'shroom for me to locate.

I think they look so cute. I will try to find them tomorrow.
