Guest guest
Hi Melissa: To get a good texture with tofu you need to freeze, defrost and then press the liquid out. To press the tofu I usually wrap it in a few layers of paper towel place in a pan then cover it with a cutting board and then a weight, I let it sit for 30-45 minutes. When this is done I slice it about 1/4 inch thick and then you can marinate and bake or bread it and bake. Guest guest
Ahhh freezing it. I pressed it, but didn't freeze and thaw. Will do that this time for whichever recipe I make. melissa p , glpveg4life wrote: > > Hi Melissa: > > To get a good texture with tofu you need to freeze, defrost and then press > the liquid out.
