Asian Meatballs 2 pounds vegetarian burger 1 cup dry bread crumbs 3/4 cup milk 1/2 cup finely chopped onion 2 eggs 2 tsp. Salt 1 tbsp. Oil 3 cloves garlic 3/4 cup ketchup 1/2 cup honey 1/4 cup soy sauce (sodium reduced) Preheat oven to 450. Put vegetarian burger in a bowl and break up. Mix together the bread crumbs, Onion, milk, eggs, and salt. Shape meatballs into little balls (one inch maximum). Place in Single layer on a jelly roll pan and bake about 10-12 minutes. Drain Meatballs. Add oil to saucepan and saute garlic until soft. Add the ketchup, Honey and soy sauce. Bring to boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer About ten minutes. Add the meatballs to your sauce, bring back to a Boil and simmer uncovered for about 5 minutes, until sauce glazes Meatballs. Stir sauce and meatballs occasionally so they don't stick. ---- Libby Mung 12/20/2007 12:17:38 PM Veggie meat balls? Hi all, Anyone have a good recipe that uses a bag of veggie meat balls? I never made sweet and sour meat balls or any thing along those lines for a pot luck being that I'm a vegetarian, but I have a couple of bags in the freezer and though I'd use them up. Thanks!
