Sauteed Cabbage 4 cups shredded cabbage 1 green pepper, shredded 2 cups diced celery 2 large onions thinly sliced 1 14-15 oz can diced tomatoes 2 tsp sugar 1 teasoon +/- liquid smoke to taste (original recipe called for 1/4 cup bacon fat ) salt and pepper to taste Combine all ingredients in a large skillet. Cover and cook over medium heat until cabbage is soft. Stir often to keep from sticking. I think I cooked it about 25-30 mins. The recipe is very vague...
