shortening?

Some recipes call for chilling the dough, so that cookies will retain their

shape and won't spread out as much when baked. Try doing that and see if it

helps with your recipes.

Question about cookies

 

I make cookies all the time but I am having a problem.. Can someone explain to

me why they would completely flatten out to where they dont look like cookies

anymore.. They go square and flat.. They dont even look right.. I just started

this year but I am curious as to why they do this every year.. You can email me

outside the group if you like with your answers as Im not on the

page much today.. Otherwise I will check messages in a bit.
