Nicer grocers, Zingermans, Zabars, with mailorder businesses are a possibility. I love the online ethnic grocer Kalustyan's Spices and Sweets (www.kalustyans.com). Some bulk food stores have excellant vinegar sections. But give me that hole-in-the-corner neighborhood grocery (Korean, Mexican, Lebanese, Chinese, etc).
