Guest guest
Jenn, I know you found a recipe, but here's a recipe I saw on Martha Stewart recently and made a mental note of it. The guest (who is a major cookbook editor and recently wrote her own cookbook) said that she was addicted these cookies that the Schrafft store sold years ago. She later wanted the recipe (the store had long since closed) and she used her connections -- she got James Beard to help her track the recipe down. It sounded truly decadent and yummy. I may make them with my youngest today as a Christmas treat. If the following link is too long: http://www.marthastewart.com/portal/site/mslo/menuitem.fc77a0dbc44dd1611e3bf410b\ 5900aa0/?vgnextoid=40175878201a6110VgnVCM1000003d370a0aRCRD & autonomy_kw=buttersc\ otch & rsc=header_5 then go to: http://www.marthastewart.com/ and enter " schrafft butterscotch " in the search field. Enjoy! Sharon Jenn Bartimus wrote: > I am making cookies this year for hubbys step sis since she has decided not to make them.. But I want to surprise her and make butterscotch cookies..
