Guest guest
Hi Judy I'm not sure if corn bread mix is available yet or not. It's something that I have never eaten in my life. That probably sounds weird but I think that's my family roots. I live in Markham, on the north east corner of Toronto, and our area is 1/3 Asian so we can buy all kinds of unusual products for that cuisine but corn bread is not on that menu either. Canada is not seen as a huge market for vegetarian food. Since we are only 1/10 the size of the US by population, we are often the last to get noticed and get new products. I'll be all excited about a new product and find that it has been on the shelves in Niagara for years. England is my favourite place for vegetarian food. My daughter married and moved there 7 years ago and I'm going over again in August. The coolers and freezers in the grocery store are full of choices. We eat out in local pubs frequently while I'm visiting and there are always wonderful choices on the menu. Even the smallest pub in the smallest village has vegetarian entrees. We have so called British pubs here but there isn't one vegetarian entree. They seem to think that all pubs should sell is Fish & Chips and Bangers and Mash. Have a great day Audrey
