Field roast company and availability - Audrey

LOL Audrey. We go to visit family in Ontario often. One year at Christmas I

was going to make a vegetarian Cornbread dressing to contribute to a family

gathering up there. I never dreamed that Cornmeal Mix would not be available in

the grocery stores there, especially in a city as huge and with such ethnic

diversity as the Toronto area, but I was sadly mistaken. That was many years

ago. Maybe you have it now. I'm thankful that many products are becoming more

available worldwide, so we can enjoy so much diversity everywhere, in our daily

diets. What a blessing to our health and taste buds.

Field roast company

 

 

I wrote to the Field Roast company about the availability of their product in

Canada. I got an answer that I shouldn't expect it any time soon. It was funny,

she actually said I had better not hold my breath. I appreciated her humour.

Apparently the distribution in the US has been challenging enough without

heading north of the border.

 

It's disappointing but when winter is over and the lines at the border slow

down a bit, I'll head 'across the river' and look there for things. I'm used to

that.
