Guest guest Posted December 18, 2007 Report Share Posted December 18, 2007 * Exported from MasterCook * Savory Tahini Walnuts on a Stick Recipe By : Serving Size : 0 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 2 Cloves garlic -- crushed 1 teaspoon Salt 6 fluid ounces Tahini 6 oz Walnuts -- crushed 1/4 teaspoon Cayenne 1/2 teaspoon Coriander seeds -- crushed 2 slices wholemeal bread -- thick slices, finely crumbed 3 oz Sesame seeds -- lightly toasted 1. Combine the garlic, salt, tahini, walnuts, cayenne and coriander in a bowl or a blender and whisk to a smooth paste. 2. Slowly add the breadcrumbs, stirring all the time to form a paste that is firm enough to hold its own shape. 3. Form the mixture into walnut size balls and roll them in the toasted sesame seeds. Stick each one on a cocktail stick and refrigerate until ready to serve.
